Canals and Rivers

Rahmatkhali Canal: It is located at Dahashala Tumchar Mouza No. 259.
                        Village: Tumchar, Post Office: J, M, Hat, Sadar, Laxmipur.
The Rahmatkhali canal flows through one side of this union. Through which the border of the union has been determined.

Laxmipur Municipality and Shakchar Union No. 18 have been separated through Rahmat Khali Canal.

Cattle Canal: It is located in Shakchar Mouza No. 95.

Village: Shakchar, Post Office: J, M, Hat, Sadar, Laxmipur.

The canal is very important for the people of Union. During the monsoon season, rain water is drained through this canal.

Eri is cultivated with water from this canal during the irrigation season. Through which the farmers of the agricultural dependent union are benefiting a lot.

In addition to these there are a few more canals smaller and larger. Which is very useful for the people of the Union.
